<p> The USS INDEPENDENCE CV-62 (Reunion) Association, Inc. is open to any Officer or Enlisted person, whether Navy or Marine, whether ship's company or attached, who has served aboard the USS INDEPENDENCE for a period of at least 90 days. Surviving spouses can be non-voting members. <b>The 1998 reunion will be in Baltimore on July 8-11.</b></p>
<p>Yearly dues are $10.00 to cover the cost of the newsletter mailings & operating expenses. The reunions are great fun and suitable for the entire family. There is a hospitality room (free drinks/snacks), sightseeing tours, banquets with dining and dancing, membership meetings, Indy souvenirs, 'midrats,' very few speeches, golf and/or bowling tournaments etc. We don't launch anything nor is there a uniform of the day requirement. We also maintain a database for those looking for old shipmates.</p>
<p>Come join us. There's something for everyone; whether you're looking to rekindle old friendships or start new ones.</p>
