| "A Walk to Remember" - Mike Cox from Kirkwood, Mo., is attempting to complete an 850-mile walk to the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., and is joined by his nephew Casey Moore for a portion of the walk. Cox is raising money for military and veteran service organizations that depend on donations. “I become very sentimental when I'm walking alone,” said Cox. “I think about those kids in foreign countries facing the challenges they face and I say, ‘this walk is for them.’” Cox departed Kirkwood on April 4 and said he hopes to complete the walk in about 35 days. |
